Family Dentistry

When you step into the office of Dr. Kim Ahuja at Rite Smile Dental, we want you to feel that you’ve found the perfect place for your family’s care.

First and foremost, we are dedicated to helping kids grow to become healthy teens and adults. We know how important it is that your children’s early experiences at the dentist be positive and feel safe and comfortable. A child who has good experiences at the dentist becomes an adult who continues to take care of their oral health and visit the dentist regularly.

But we don’t just cater to kids. In fact, we’ve bent over backward to ensure that our services span the age spectrum so that our patients feel nurtured and supported through all the stages of their lives.

From your toddler’s first check-up to the decisions regarding dentures and other implements, Dr. Ahuja and our team strive to listen to your concerns and give you a range of options for every stage of your life.

Children’s Dentistry

Guiding our youngest and most vulnerable patients through to healthy adulthood is a priority for our team. Because children’s mouths and teeth are changing so quickly, there are constant challenges to providing the best outcomes. Early intervention is key since childhood tooth decay tends to contribute to lifelong difficulties. At Rite Smile Dental we offer and emphasize early preventative care.

Teen Dentistry

Most parents realize that the teen years can present new challenges when it comes to their child’s oral health. Teenagers are more independent, which means that they may change what they eat and drink, as well as become less consistent in caring for their teeth. In addition, moving through adolescence means that their teeth and smile are changing more rapidly than ever. This is the time, too, that confidence can suffer because of the appearance of the smile. Braces or other orthodontia become important considerations. At Rite Smile Dental we believe in keeping a positive connection with teens so that we can continue all the good work that’s occurred during childhood.

Adult Dentistry

In adults, we tend to see fewer cavities, but this is the time when gum disease, tooth loss, weakening teeth, and other issues become more prominent. Fortunately, there are a host of effective solutions for these problems. For the adults we see, we want to create a customized care plan for you that addresses and prevents problems.

With all the good news in modern dentistry we’re hoping you’ll look forward to your dental visits, knowing you’ll be well taken care of and remembering that, as the saying goes, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
