At Smile Rite Dental, we create custom dentures for our clients. These dentures can significantly improve your smile especially if it has significant gaps or you have lost many teeth. There are many benefits to using dentures as a replacement for your natural teeth. Dentures provide support for your cheeks and lips, which in turn gives you a more youthful appearance. They also allow you full use of your mouth and teeth, for chewing, eating, and talking.
When you come in for a consultation, Dr. Ahuja will explain the different options available to you in terms of our high-quality, state-of-the-art denture implements.
Traditional dentures continue to be a popular option for many patients. These implements are made to look as natural as possible and are carefully crafted to snugly fit over your gum tissue. Your new dentures now give you the functionality of your natural teeth, along with a gorgeous new smile.
These traditional dentures also provide support to your mouth, keeping it from looking sunken and allowing you to enjoy all kinds of foods that you once may have had to avoid. Your set of dentures will fit snugly over your gums and can provide you with a complete set of upper and lower teeth.
Because of technological innovations these dentures are more comfortable than ever. Whether you need a set of upper or lower dentures or both, we are confident we can help you find the right solution for you.
Once, being fitted with dentures meant a compromise. The look and feel of the dentures were not as comfortable or as aesthetically pleasing as one would wish. These old-fashioned dentures were once the only available solution. However, thanks to advancements in reconstructive dentistry, those ill-fitting devices are no longer necessary.
At Smile Rite Dental we provide custom dentures that allow our patients to replace most or all of their teeth. These dentures provide structure, function, health, and beauty to our patients’ smiles, while maintaining comfort and durability.
Dr. Ahuja and our team use only top-grade materials when we craft these dentures to perfectly fit each patient’s mouth. Our custom dentures can be held in place with special adhesives or supported by dental implants.
Like traditional dentures, custom dentures will help prevent your mouth and jaw from looking sunken. When we create your custom dentures, we take the time to study the contours of your face and the set of your jaw, enabling us to create dentures that fit well and feel comfortable.
You have two options with implant-supported dentures, fixed or removable. If you choose fixed, it means that you will not be able to remove your dentures. These implant-supported dentures are permanently attached to your dental implants.
If you choose removable implant-supported dentures, you’ll be able to take them out for cleaning.
Many of our patients who have lost all or most of their teeth choose implant-supported dentures. Provided you have sufficient jawbone volume, implant-supported dentures can be a wise choice. They can:
- Restore ability to chew and speak.
- Stimulate the jawbone.
- Add security and comfort.
